GLFRA board members Robin MacDonald and Dayna Delnay along with members, Sarah Bishop and Mellissa Manzagol, attended the 2006 West Michigan Pet Expo in Grand Rapids, Michigan at the Delta Plex. For two days, educational seminars, happy rats and multitudes of happy people got to meet and greet with a few of Silver Fuzz and Deer Creek ratteries' finest. Many individuals learned what good pets rats made and many old time rat lovers were more than happy to cuddle a furry friend.
All rats involved in the Expo event have been quarantined, as is required, to prevent any of the residents of their individual ratteries from having brought something home from the event. We strongly recommend that whenever attending a rat inclusive event like this that proper quarantine procedures be followed before and after these types of events.
