Novi Family Pet Expo - 2007 Pics coming soon! GLFRA board members Robin MacDonald, Tony Halm, Sarah Bishop, and Amanda Barber along with general members Chris Bower, Savannah Halm, and Mellissa Manzagol - attended the 2007 Family Pet Expo in Novi , Michigan at the Rock Financial Showplace for the 4th year in a row. Educational seminars, exhibits and lots of vendors were part of the expo this year. For 3 days, many people got to meet and greet with about 12 of Deer Creek Rattery's finest. We also had several cages of English mice from MausHaus Mousery there to display the differences between rats and mice. As usual, we had plenty of information available for those who were not familiar with rats as pets along with plenty of cages to see and rats to watch. We saw many people who visited our booth last year as well as several other expos we have done in the past. A big thank you goes out to to Chris who took so many spectacular photos, made coffee/snack runs and helped man the booth all 3 days! We really appreciate it! Our Booth All rats involved in this Expo event have been quarantined, as is required, to prevent any of the residents of their individual ratteries from having brought something home from the event. We strongly recommend that whenever attending a rat inclusive event like this that proper quarantine procedures be followed before and after these types of events.
