Novi Family Pet Expo - 2006 Pics coming soon! GLFRA board members Robin MacDonald, Dayna Delnay, Sarah Bishop, Nikki Stott and Amanda Barber along with general members Chris Bower, Tony and Savannah Halm, and Mellissa Manzagol - attended the 2006 Family Pet Expo in Novi, Michigan at the Rock Financial Showplace. Educational seminars, exhibits and lots of vendors were part of the expo this year. For 3 days, many people got to meet and greet with about 20 of Silver Fuzz and Deer Creek Ratteries' finest. We had plenty of information available for those who were not familiar with rats as pets along with plenty of cages to see and rats to watch. We saw many people who visited our booth last year as well as several other expos we have done in the past. Many thanks to Robin's father, Rob MacDonald for building our playtable and coming up with the design for brand new information boards! Also, we'd like to thank everyone who attended this year and helped run the booth, make coffee runs and answer the many questions people asked. We really appreciate it! Our Booth All rats involved in this Expo event have been quarantined, as is required, to prevent any of the residents of their individual ratteries from having brought something home from the event. We strongly recommend that whenever attending a rat inclusive event like this that proper quarantine procedures be followed before and after these types of events.
